The Falcons are now nearing the end of the 2009 Northern League campaign and to finish off will be running two home fixtures over the next two weeks.
First up on 27th September is the visit of Heckmondwike to Redbraes for a 2pm start. The Yorkshire outfit have over the last few years struggled for numbers and this has not changed lately. You never know what you are going to get with a visit from Heckmondwike.
Next on 4th October, 2pm start, is the re-arranged fixture against Bury. This will be the 2nd year running the away side have had to cancel and re-arrange late on in the season. Something the Falcons Management will be taking up with the League committee during the winter.
Both matches are highly winnable for the Falcons assuming Team Manager Stevie Gilroy can track some reasonable quality.
