On the
6th of September Belguim held an International Speedway competion for the first
time since 2005.
It was
called the Golden Helmet 2009 and was held at Helzoldstadion - Heusden Zolder.
There were
riders from many countries - Belgium,Germany, Holand, Denmark, Italy, Norway and the UK.
The
meeting was run with 20 qualifier races each rider getting 4 rides and the top
8 go through to semi finals. then the top two from each into the grand final.
